THERE were some very close games in the latest round of matches.

Despite knocking in the highest break of week (82), Tony Wallace lost by nine points to Chris Mit-chell, who also had a 77 but lost the handicap by one (151-150).

Meanwhile, Phil Gilbert lost by 11 to Chris Giles, Jack Tambling by 16 to Nigel Gilbert and John Olver by 17 to Arthur Tink, though the latter won his handicap by three (283-280).
