Caradon Swimming Club, represented by their top five female Masters Swimmers, collected 15 medals at the South West Region Masters Championships at the Millfield pool.

Leading the way in the RG Pools & Leisure sponsored team was Vicki Buck in the 60 to 64-year age group. She secured two gold medals in the 100m backstroke in a time of 1.50.72 and the 200m freestyle in a time of 3.22.62,two silvers in the 50m breaststroke (59.48) and 50m backstroke (51.32) and one bronze in the 200m backstroke (3.53.88).

Emma Bryant (30 to 34-year age group) collected two gold medals in the 100m butterfly (1.17.12) and 100m breaststroke (1.25.85), establishing a new South West Region Masters Record.

Amanda Losasso (50 to 54-year age group) also won two gold medals in the 50m freestyle (31.25) and the 100m freestyle (1.11.83).

Sam Crosby (18 to 24-year age group) picked up the winner's medal in the 200m backstroke (3.11.94) and Caroline Fox (45 to 49-year age group) established a new South West Region record with her gold medal swim in the 200m freestyle (3.15.08). Sam also won three silver medals in the 50m butterfly (35.31), 200m butterfly (3.11.72) and 200m freestyle (2.48.11).Caroline secured second place and a silver medal in the 100m freestyle (1.26.78).
