IN the quarter-finals of the new WH Bond Handicap Cup, all eyes were on the only sole Premier Division team left in the competition.

St Cleer had to make the trip to Luckett and give a 62 start, but despite Kevin Steed knocking in a 34 break and going 2-1 up, wins for Chris Warne over Martin Rowe and Geoff Howlett against Alan Snell sent the Division Two side into the semi-finals.

In an all-Division One clash, Downderry A made light work in booking their place with a 3-0 win against Liskeard Cons B.
