Several members of Looe Sailing Club returned having taken part in the National Mirror Sailing Championships held at Itchenor in Sussex.

Three boats from Looe took their place in a field of 56 for an eight-race series over three days.

Highest-placed Looe boat was Arctic Donkeez, helmed by Joe Jackman, with his crew Jack Sargent in 15th place, one place ahead of Hype, with Ollie and Archie Hawkins on board.

Hannah Staff and Bethan Gummoe, in their first major event, finished 46th and should benefit in future by the experience of racing in a large fleet.
