A HIGHLY-successful centenary year was recalled at Looe Bowling Club's annual dinner and presentation event when glasses were raised to the next 100 years.

The well-attended function at West Looe's Hannafore Point Hotel, just a peach of a bowl from the club's plush Hannafore green overlooking St George's Island, heard how the special year's many cele- bratory events would be concluded with a Christmas coffee morning at the clubhouse on Thursday (10.30 am) to which there was an open invitation for anyone to attend.
