LISKEARD-Looe were on their travels for the third successive week, this time to Penryn to face Camborne School of Mines.

However, they found themselves behind after tries in the fifth and 13th minutes.

On 24 minutes, with the Lions gradually getting into the game, the visitors reduced the arrears thanks to a try by replacement scrum-half Mike Charlwood, converted by fly-half James Noel-Johnson.

And after 35 minutes, with the Liskeard-Looe pack dominating, No.8 Gareth Cooke scored a try which was also converted by Noel-Johnson to take the score to 14-12 in their favour at half-time.
