AN East Cornwall darts player is celebrating after helping the Duchy win a prestigious youth competition. Leighann Latham, from St Cleer, was joined by George Jones (Wadebridge) and Rhys Julian (Penwithick) as the Cornwall youth team clinched the Southern Youth Darts League Mixed Triples Championship at the famous Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey, last Sunday. The trio overcame Kevin Kenny, Rhys Griffin and Alannah Waters, of Glamorgan, Wales, in the final on the Lakeside stage.
