Ladock v. Luckett

LUCKETT continued their winning ways, but were given a close encounter by their hosts. Batting first, after being put in by Ladock, they lost their first wicket, Jack Sleep, with only 14 runs on the board. Richard Brown and Andy Brenton put on 58 for the next wicket, before the latter fell for 37 with the score on 72 for two. Things got worse as they lost three more wickets for only four more runs, including Brown for 24, and were 76 for five. John Schuttkacker and Andrew Hosken then put on 28 more runs, before John was caught for 13 at 104 for six, and Jonny Hosken soon after, for nine. Mark Southcott (13no) then joined Hosken (54no) and put on an unbroken stand of 43 runs.
