THE season came to a premature end for St Dominick, who came within striking distance of winning the East Cornwall League on their return to the league, but it did not stop them from holding their virtual reality presentation evening though.

Unsurprisingly, the team’s top scorers, Kieran Ryall and Kieran Prescott, dominated the proceedings.

Ryall, with 42 goals, was awarded the top scorer trophy as well as being voted the Players’ Player of the Season.

Prescott – who knocked in 24 goals – picked up the Manager’s Player award, alongside the Supporters’ Player honour.

The Fair Play award went to Callum Searle, while Kieran Searle was named as the Most Under-rated trophy winner.

Awards: Kieran Ryall – Top scorer, Players’ player; Kieran Prescott – Supporters’ Player, Manager’s Player; Kieran Searle – Most Under-rated Player; Fair Play award – Callum Searle.

At the same time, the Duchy League team had their presentation awards.

These were more evenly spread out as there were six different award winners.

Ian Barriball was voted Players’ Player; Samuel Nicholson was the Supporters’ Player; Ryan Brown picked up the Manager’s Player award; Kieren Jasper the top scorer award; Ben Wilton won the Fair Play honour; while Lewis Whittaker was awarded the Most Underrated Player award.
