ARGYLE Community Trust kicks off their Cornwall Long Term Player Development programme for 2016 with two centres in Truro and Brannel, St Austell this week.

The centre at Truro starts today (Wednesday, January 6) and at Truro College from 5 – 6pm, while the Brannel Centre begins tomorrow (Thursday, January 7) at Brannel School also from 5 – 6pm.

The philosophy at Plymouth Argyle focuses on developing homegrown talent by placing particular emphasis on gifted young footballers.

Talented players should be given every opportunity to reach their full potential through a structured syllabus that is designed to combine enjoyment with technical development.

The Long Term Player Development programme is invitation-only and recommendations stem from a variety of sources.
