IRONICALLY, the Jolly's Cornwall Cricket League season ended in glorious sunshine, with Callington cementing their third spot in the Premier Division table thanks to a comfortable 95-run run victory over St Austell.
After electing to bat first, Callington's dependable County opening partnership put on another large stand of 155.
The first wicket fell in the 38th over when Jake Libby snicked a Mike Bone delivery to Taylor Williams behind the stumps, after he had scored 65 from 124 deliveries including six fours.
'Popes' Selowa was clearly annoyed with himself when he was given leg before, and then Matt Robins gave a catch to Jack Butler, again off Bone, after he had scored 78 from 109 balls including 13 boundaries.
