It’s been another busy week of sport in South East Cornwall – and the print edition of the Cornish Times, out today, has nine pages of top action.

The paper has reports and pictures from the successful Cornish Marathon and Fun Run, which attracted more than 500 runners.

Sharon Daw ran her 100th marathon in 79 weeks, while Oliver Jones ran the Cornish Marathon THREE times in a day.

We have news of a national swimming volunteer award for a Callington teenager, as well as a report on Caradon Swimming Club’s medal winners at the national championships.

Our hockey coverage includes reports on Caradon’s men’s and womens’ teams, including four goals for Chris Fasey and a hat-trick for women’s captain Clare Poad.

In rugby, Liskeard-Looe returned to winning ways with a hard-fought win at Withycombe but Saltash saw victory hopes dashed by two late tries at Crediton.

We also include a report and pictures from Liskeard-Looe’s Under 16s win over Launceston.

In football, manager Matt Cusack gives us his views on Saltash United’s FA Vase win over Ivybridge and looks ahead to a home draw in the next round.

There is also a feature match report on Liskeard Athletic’s 10th win out of 10 against title rivals Wadebridge, which sent the Blues to the top of the SWPL division one west table.

And we report on a second hat-trick in a week for Torpoint Athletic’s Luke Cloke, who has made a big impact since stepping up from the second team.

We have reviews of all the games in the East Cornwall Premier League and the Duchy League, as well as reports on Callington Town Ladies and Argyle Ladies.

Not forgetting, of course, Ross Reid’s Plymouth Argyle column which this week features fans’ favourite Graham Carey.

And our two digest pages are packed with reports, results, tables and fixtures from sports including darts, euchre, skittles, snooker, billiards, bowling, youth football and golf.
