A QUALIFYING competition will be held at The Cornish Ivy, Liskeard, tonight (Friday, May 11) to find the 16 players who will play against former World Champion Bob Anderson.

Entry costs £1.00, which will be paid back in prize-money, and players must sign in by 8.15 pm.

The 16 players to qualify will take on Anderson at the same venue next Friday (May 18), starting at 8.00 pm.

A fun evening is guaranteed, with stories of the old days, questions from the audience and a good standard of play, too.

There will be a stageset with MC Paul Starr, while walk-on music for the players will make this an evening not to be missed.
