LOOE Social C's hopes of securing the runner-up spot in the WH Bond Premier Snooker League faded, despite a 32 break from Marcus LePage.
They went down 32 to table-topping St Dominick A, whose Andrew Pearce produced a knock of 35.
With a game in hand, second-placed St Cleer had Alec Snell compiling a 47 break in their 4-1 success over St Dominick B.
St Neot A had Steve Courts, 43, and Nigel Collins, 31, in with the breaks as they defeated second from bottom Freathy 3-2.
Bottom team Looe Social B notched up a 3-2 victory over Pelynt A meaning, with a game in hand and five points from the safety zone, they could pull it off.
Following two seasons out of the top-flight, Looe Social D booked their place in the Premier Division next season by getting promoted from Division One thanks to a 3-2 win over Calstock.
