Local award-winning novelist and short story writer Tom Vowler will read extracts from his new book ‘Dazzling the Gods’, a collection of stories, at Calstock Arts on Friday, December 1.

Tom’s debut story collection, ‘The Method’, won the inaugural Scott Prize and the Edge Hill Readers’ Prize, while his novel, ‘What Lies Within’, also received critical acclaim.

He is an Arvon lecturer. He is editor of the literary journal, Short Fiction, and an associate lecturer in creative writing at Plymouth University, where he completed his PhD.
