A group of volunteers has saved Looe putting green from closing and is now hoping to get more people using it.

Looe residents have volunteered to be attendants at Looe Bowling Club, so that members of the public can use the facilities, including the public bowling rinks, when club members are not there.

Until recently members of the public could only use the facilities if Looe Bowling Club members were at the Cornwall Council-owned site.
