The Peninsula League is now reaching its conclusion with the final rubbers being played last Sunday at the Dragon Leisure Centre.
Tim's Tornados (Trevor Stern (Bodmin), Joel Key (Bodmin), Adam Hayward (Truro) and Dave Storey (Liskeard)) played Ryan's Rebels (Adam Jarvis (St Austell), Simon Reeves (St Austell), Chris Cull (Truro) and Mark Pemberton (St Neot). Tim's Tornados won five rubbers to one and man of the match was Trevor Stern.
The Peninsula Men's finals takes place on Sunday 19th March. Tim's Tornados play Truro Tyrants at 4.00 pm and Ryan's Rebels play Redruth Rockets in the third and fourth place play off at 6.00 pm. In the Ladies Peninsula League, North Cornwall Stars (Karen Masters (Bodmin), Vicki Eames (Liskeard), Helen Foster (St Austell) and Alyssa Nicholls (Bodmin)) beat West Cornwall Wonders (Maggie Hayward (Penzance), Rosanna Mowle-Clarke (Saltash), Jo Travis (Penzance) and Elaine Bassett (Penzance)) by a resounding six rubbers to nil. Lady of the match was Alyssa Nicholls.
The Ladies finals take place on Sunday 26th March when the North Cornwall Stars will play East Cornwall Eliminators at 6.00 pm. The third and fourth place play off will take place at 4.00 pm between West Cornwall Wonders and Mid Cornwall Aces.
