A GROUP of estate agents will be joining together and living the high life when they tackle a charity abseil for a children's cancer charity. The team led by Nic Early, from Early's, and James Clarke, from Stratton Creber in Liskeard, will go down the outside of the 200ft-tall Civic Centre building in Plymouth city centre on Sunday in aid of CLIC Sargent. Nic, who has previously abseiled down Cornwall College Camborne, said: 'Whether through family or friends, we've all had some experience of people living with cancer and when we were asked to take part, were happy to say yes. 'We've got together a group of five to raise as much money as possible and the team consists of Tom Woodley, Ian Rice, and Cheryl Shearn.' Along with funding two doctors, eight nurses, four social workers and three family liaison officers in Devon and Cornwall, CLIC Sargent also runs a number of other initiatives including a 'Homes from Home' scheme which allows families to stay together during periods of treatment, and provides free luxury caravans in Devon for all families receiving treatment to use for a short break. To sponsor any of the team members, call Early's on Liskeard (01579) 342005 or Stratton Creber on Liskeard (01579) 343561 or visit one of the offices on Barras Street or Fore Street, Liskeard.
