A team from Addaction Cornwall are taking to the skies en masse to raise money for the county’s alcohol and drug support service.

The team of 10 clients, recovery champions, volunteers and staff are taking up the challenge of all doing a parachute jump on the same day over the Cornwall coast.

Addaction service user engagement co-ordinator Billy Horton said: ’We want to brave the 10,000 feet jump together to raise awareness of the amazing work Addaction does and to secure funds to support those in their recovery journeys.’

The team jump will take place on September 4 at the Cornish Parachute Club in Perranporth.

They hope to raise £2,500 which will be used in supporting local service users.
