Dobwalls U-15's ran out convincing winners against Nanstallon, winning 6-0 to keep them on track for their third consecutive league title.

Dobwalls kicked off with the wind and adapted to the conditions very quickly, pushing forward at every opportunity, their pressure paid off and from one of many corner kicks they took the lead when Jamie Robins arrived in the box to score with a powerful header.

Dobwalls continued to control the game and captain Alex Lindsay put them further ahead with a well-struck shot from 25 yards. Just before half-time they increased their lead further with a well-crafted goal, after some good touch passing, Mike Ruark made a strong run down the right before playing a superb ball into the box which was well met by Dave Lee who finished sharply at the near post.

The second half started with Dobwalls continuing to control the game, and although playing against a swirling wind they managed to play some lovely controlled football. Goal number four came from Mike Ruark who shot from 20 yards. The ball hung up in the wind completely fooling the Nanstallon 'keeper before dropping in just under the bar.

Nanstallon heads dropped a bit after that and Dobwalls sealed the points with two more goals, Tom Haverson scoring from close range after some neat play and then Andy Sheer scored with his second bite of the cherry after the 'keeper had saved his first shot. Dobwalls now have three games left this season in the league, needing at least two wins and a draw to take the title.

This week they entertain Mount, kick-off 2.30 pm on Sunday 16th. This evening (Friday) the club is holding a Quiz Night at the Hotel Nebula, Liskeard starting at 8.00 pm.
