STUDENTS from Duchy College have spent a week with 32 Regiment Royal Artillery to find out whether they've got what it takes to join the Army. The group of six spent the week testing their mental and physical abilities in a range of activities designed to simulate Army life with the Royal Artillery. The skills included learning to live in the field and gaining skills in fire lighting, map reading, building shelters and cooking food. The students also took part in an overnight exercise, did an Army fitness test and assault course and learned the basics of camouflage and concealment.
