Hundreds of riders are gearing up for Cornwall’s biggest cycling event the Eden Classic, returning to the Eden Project on Sunday May 12.

The ride starting and finishing at the home of the famous Biomes, features three challenging routes – 36, 60 and 100 miles – through some of the most scenic parts of the country. There is still time to sign up through the British Cycling website. Pre-event registration closes at 11pm on Tuesday May 7.

Family and friends wishing to cheer on the riders get free entry to the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan all weekend.

Eden has teamed up with Clive Mitchell Cycles to offer the chance to win a men’s Specialised Allez Elite or women’s Specialised Dolce Elite road bike, both of which retail for £1,050, by entering a free online draw at www.edenproject.com/classic-bike-comp.
