A HOST of stars are heading to Cornwall this year for festival appearances, it has been announced in the last few days.

There are going to be handfuls of ‘Scooby Snacks’ on the beach as the Fun Lovin’ Criminals are confirmed as headliners for the Looe Music Festival 2016 on Sunday, September 25.

Jess Glynne is the latest superstar announcement for this year’s Eden Sessions, following Lionel Richie and Tom Jones. She will play Eden on Thursday, July 14.

And organisers of the St Ives September Festival today announced the latest acts. 

Folk rock giants Fairport Convention, The Blockheads,  Cornish choirs and other entertainers, Cornwall’s comic Kernow King and the Show of Hands musician Phil Beer all feature. Earlier in the year Festival Chairman Dave Brotherton announced the first headline acts for 2016 which included Rick Wakeman, Sound of the Sirens, Juan Martin’s Flamenco Trio and Baka Beyond.
