Division One - Bulldogs pulled off an easy maximum Division One win in a home game versus a Callington side unable to reach the 500 pin total at Duloe. At the final ball 67 pins was the gap between team totals putting Bulldogs in a challenging runner up position.
Hotshots, although trailing by 17 pins at half-time in a home tussle with the Jets really put up a good show in the second half to record a four to two point victory.
Hits and Misses stay on top spot as they were able to show a four to two point victory over the Barley Oats at the Barley Sheaf. Well done to Oats for collecting two well earned points in the first half of a top/bottom of the table clash.
At the London Inn those Londoners recorded another high total of 549 pins, winning both halves against the visiting Cast-Offs. With a six points haul they rise to seventh spot. Edwardians visited the Misfits at the British Legion and got the better of the home side in both halves with an improved performance adding a much needed six points to their tally. Misfits best was Marie James who registered an 18 spare in her total of 71 pins.

Division Two - Ditchers widen the gap
Ditchers consolidate their Division Two position with yet another maximum 6-0 victory at the Liskeard Bowling Club. This week over the Oddballs despite a good 77 pins by Keith Lobb.
Legionaires climb off the bottom of the table following their 6-0 victory over Seccombes. Marketeers six points Burley Booties nil point after a shining performance by the home side at Dobsons gave them a rise of two places up the table. Booties captain Kay Norman played her part with a high 82 pin total.
At Callington Social Club visiting Terriers looked set for a maximum win over Woodentops as they were 31 pins in front at half-time but the home side prevented that as they improved to gain two valuable second half points.
The Sandpipers entertained the Marquees at Millendreath, but were trailing by 14 pins after four legs. However they did get the better of the remaining four legs to rescue two points, allowing the Marquees to add four more to their total and with seven games to play, in with a shout for promotion.

Division Three - Hobos on top
The Hobos visited the Demons at Liskeard Liberal Club where, looking at the Division Three league table, a maximum win for them was predicted. Yet the Demons got the better of exchanges in the first half, earning two valuable points. The visitors were much improved in the second half claiming the remaining four points.
Joint leaders Four x 4's travelled to Pensilva and found the Hilltops in improved form to record a four to two point victory. Four x 4's Maggie Pritchard found the alley to her liking, knocking over 84 pins which helped in their second half two point win.
Rally travelled to the SWEB Club at Bodmin and carrying on their winning ways, securing all six points over the Nomads who were a trifle unlucky in the first half to salvage any points, as just two pins separated the first half totals.
Talking about totals, the Madhatters entertained Tri-Ards at Liskeard Sports club and in a game which was a close affair all the way through ending with both teams accounting for 488 pins each, thus happy to share the six points at stake.
Another close affair was at the Snooty Fox, where at half-time the Growlers held a five pin lead. But Foxes captain, Alan Soady in great form with a total of 82 pins, enabled his team to win the second half and the total pin fall by just three pins.

Division Four - Flyers grind down the Millers
An entertaining Division four clash at the Church House, Linkinhorne, where the two teams eagerly looking for promotion met. Flyers were in top form, when at the half way stage showed an advantage of 19 pins over the Millers. Both teams were much improved in the second half as more spares were registered, allowing Flyers to add another 15 pins advantage in the final four legs, ending up 6-0 winners and John and Ivor both recording 81 pins each.
Also in the promotion race Circles on their home alley at Dobsons held a 12 pin lead after four legs. However their opponents Ramblers, did claim the second half by six pins to earn two points, But winners by six pins over all were Circles and four more points puts them in top place in the table. At Pensilva the Breakaways held a 22 pin lead at half-time over the Thrashers, who improved in the second half to collect two pins, but ended up with the home side taking four points with a 13 pins majority.
