The changeable weather dampened the St Mellion Fossils' enthusiasm for winter golf, with a slightly diminished number of 54 playing in the Stableford competition.
With squally showers, at times persistant, and wet under foot, the scoring was perhaps not up to the high standard over the last few weeks – and the top cards were all under 40 points.
