THE Queen arrived at the Royal Cornwall Show at Wadebridge yesterday lunchtime in warm sunshine – to be greeted by a guard of honour of local Guides, show-goers from throughout the county, and a fanfare from the band of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.

Immediately upon arrival, right on time at 12.10pm, the Queen, wearing a knee length navy blue coat over a dark and light blue dress and a navy blue hat with feather, met with wives of Royal Cornwall show officers.
