A motorbike show and family fun day will be held at RAF St Mawgan from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, March 26, in support of the Poppy Appeal
It will be officially opened by Mr Steve Lewis the Cornwall County Chairman for the Royal British Legion.
Attractions include many motorbike agents and clubs such as Harley Davidson and Triumph, various vintage motorcycle clubs and military vehicles.
There will also be various stalls and children’s amusements including a bouncy castle and face painting.
The Wreath of Respect will be at the event and at Lemon Quay, Truro, on March 24.
The Wreath of Respect is a project where England, Wales, Scotland and the Isle of Man can show respect to all those who have given so much in the past 100 years and continue to do so today.
In 2014 the Wreath traveled around the United Kingdom over seven days supported by the Royal British Legion Riders branch along with many other motorcyclists.
The Wreath was especially commissioned for the event. The centre is a horseshoe from London’s Horse Guards Parade.
There will be a small service of thanksgiving and memorial conducted by Chaplain John Howard at 1 pm on Saturday.
