Leading West Country figures will star in a TV debate on the European Referendum today.

Better In or Out? A BBC Spotlight Referendum Special will be presented by Justin Leigh.

Campaigners from the leave and remain sides will debate the referendum in front of a live studio audience.

In favour of leaving the EU will be Tim Martin (chairman, JD Wetherspoon) and Anne Marie Morris (Conservative MP for Newton Abbot).

In favour of remaining in the EU will be Sir Tim Smit (co-founder of Eden Project) and Ben Bradshaw (Labour MP for Exeter).

The debate will be held at the University of Plymouth.

The audience will be made up of local people from all walks of life, who will be invited to fire questions at the panel.

The programme airs at 10.35pm on BBC One.
