A conference which brings together women from different cultures and faiths, aiming to inspire and and empower them to overcome barriers, will be held in Truro next month.
The Every Woman’s Hope Conference will return for its second year on Saturday, June 2 (10am to 6pm).
It aims to break down cultural differences and bring hope to those who may be victims of domestic or sexual abuse.
Held at All Saints Highertown Church, the free event will showcase stalls and speakers on various themes including domestic and sexual abuse, unity within the community and healing and wholeness.
Speakers and attendees will include senior officers from Devon and Cornwall Police, First Light, Women Centre Cornwall, Victim Care Unit and Julia MacDonald.
There will also be live music from singer and songwriter Sarah Teibo, who is originally from Nigeria, and an African choir.
