PUBLIC notices cover a range of applications, ranging from licensing applications for liqueur or entertainment to planning applications, roadworks and other works. Their intention is to inform communities of the latest plans in their area and such applications are considered for approval or refusal by local authorities. Here are some of the latest applications submitted to Cornwall Council in South East Cornwall.
FOWEY: Tower Park in Fowey is set to be closed between September 14 and September 15 between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm in order for footway patching works to be undertaken.
The road affected is Tower Park between No 23 and No 29.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to properties will be maintained.
FOWEY: Water Lane in Fowey is set to be closed between September 15 for one day.
The closure will be in place between 7.30am and 5pm and is necessary to enable tree works to be undertaken.
The road affected is Water Lane from the junction with Church Hill to the junction with access to South Torfrey Farm.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
TORPOINT: Military Road is set to be closed between September 14 and October 2.
The closure is necessary to enable Kier, on behalf of South West Water to replace a water main in the area.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to properties will be maintained during the closure.
MORVAL: The road from Tregarland Bridge to Gellis Rise in Morval is set to be closed between September 7 and September 9.
It is to enable Kier on behalf of South West Water to undertake meter exchange work in the area with the affected route being properties known as Torwell Cottages and Hillcrest.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to properties will be maintained during the closure.
SEATON: Hessenford Road and the road from the A387 between the junction to the west of Bickham and Bake Lane to the east of Riverside in Seaton is set to be closed on September 20 between 9.30am and 3.30pm for fibre overhead cabling works to be undertaken.
LISKEARD: Tremeddan Lane in Liskeard is set to be closed on September 15 and September 16 between 8am and 6pm.
The affected properties are on Tremeddan Lane between properties 1 and 7.
It is to enable Circet TM to undertake pole replacement works in the affected area.
