PLANS for seven contemporary detached houses in a coastal village have gone before Cornwall Council.

Applicant Robert Keen hopes to build the split level homes into the hillside on land off the Trerieve Estate in Downderry, and between two areas of existing housing.

Deviock Parish Council has yet to lodge its recommendation on the plan with Cornwall Council; a decision is due to be made in mid-July.
