A FULL meeting of Looe Town Council will take place on Monday (December 14) to discuss a planning application which has been the subject of much concern in the town.

The Barratt Homes application (PA14/10838) for the second phase of new houses off St Martin’s Road in the Barbican area of East Looe was due to be decided by Cornwall Council planners this week but this decision was postponed while the developer submitted further information to the local authority for consideration.

Following Monday’s meeting, Looe Town Council will be making its recommendation on the plans to Cornwall Council. The next meeting of the East Planning Commitee is scheduled to take place on January 4.
