PLANS for Looe Football Club are moving forward as a project to build a new clubhouse takes shape.

A planning application has been submitted to Cornwall Council for a timber-framed building which will house a kitchen, bar and dining area, as well as a covered patio with outdoor seating.

Meanwhile, upgrades to the changing facilities are almost complete, with new doors, windows and toilets now installed, and interior decoration under way.

The new amenity will enable the club, which has been in existence for around 100 years, to provide match day food and drinks in a pleasant and comfortable environment – and will also act as a facility for use by the whole community, says Looe Town FC.
