A pub is the place for a pint-sized conversation, say a group of performers.
So that’s where Dylan Frankland, Rosa Day-Jones, Tobias Grace and Katherine Lea are presenting ‘A Pint Sized Conversation’, a theatre piece about depression made by those with close family and friends who suffer from it.
‘Performed in a pub we utilise this intimate setting to directly engage an audience without the conventions imposed by traditional theatre venues,’ say the group.
The charity Rethink Mental Illness describes it as ‘uplifting, moving and often humorous’.
Shows take place in Bodmin on June 7 (The Masons Arms, 7.30pm); June 8 (The Beehive cafe, 7.30pm) and June 9 (The Hole in the Wall, 7.30pm). People are asked to pay what they decide.
