LISKEARD secured a hard-fought victory against their rivals for runners-up spot, Biscovey, at Lux Park and still have a slim chance of winning the League.
But they will have to beat current leaders Newquay and rely on the latter losing their other remaining game as the season draws to a close.
Playing down the slope in the first half, Biscovey started the brighter and Blues' goalkeeper Blake Penhaligan made two fine saves within the first ten minutes.
