A local care home is to have an open day as part of the National Care Home Day.
Cowbridge Care Home in Lostwithiel is hoping for a memorable day for residents, families and staff when they hold a Royal Ascot themed event, with ladies and gents wearing suitable hats for the ‘wacky’ race meeting.
The afternoon will be officially opened by mayor Pam Jarrett at 2pm tomorrow (Saturday April 21) and will be followed with singing, games and competitions.
