It had been three weeks since Lis-keard-Looe had last played a game, due to frozen pitches, and it took a while to establish themselves in this match.

The contest began with some good possession for the home team, but the visitors defended their line very well.

After about ten minutes of end-to-end play, Tom Dinnis found a gap to score his first try for the Lions.

Wadebridge responded well applying, some good pressure, only for Liskeard-Looe to gain possession in midfield leaving Billy Palfrey to cross the line.

A solid ruck in the Wadebridge 22 saw the ball fed to Ali Francis, who crashed to the line to score in only his second game for Liskeard-Looe. Shortly after the restart, some good running from Ben Gordon at full-back put Tom Dinnis through for his second try of the match.

Wadebridge made a flying start to the second period with a try created by their forwards.

The home team fought back to the visitors' 22, and some excellent passing created space for winger Joe Andrews to score.

Sam Hooper took up play after the restart running straight at the visitors; this created a gap for Dinnis to exploit and complete his hat-trick.

Dinnis also had a hand in the seventh try, stealing the ball from the visitors and feeding Kieran Lyne who crossed the line to score, before good field pos-ition led to the eighth try

for Liskeard-Looe. Ali Francis made some hard yards and fed Angus Tamblyn who touched the ball down.

Wadebridge scored the final try of the game following a tremendous effort from their forwards.
