Sue Crook comes to the Artists Corner in Polperro’s Ebenezer Gallery wth an exhibition from now until July 29.
Sue paints her pictures in a variety of mediums, using watercolours, oils and pastels as well as textiles.
She commenced her love of art in the 60s when she studied at Trent College in London.
Her inspiration comes from the landscape around her. She said: ‘I never get bored with the coastal features and am constantly motivated to interpret them in my own styles,in various media.
‘Harbours, boats, the sea and the coast are my main subjects but I also enjoy working on moorland scenes and the wild inland landscapes of Bodmin Moor.
mThe colours of the seascapes and landscapes are constantly changing and this inspires me to experiment with colour and how it can be used.’Sue will be demonstrating at the Ebenezer Gallery today (July 20) and July 23, 25 and 27.
