Constable Alford updated the council on the crimes in Torpoint during the last month. There had been 43 reported crimes: five criminal damage, 13 assaults, five thefts, seven thefts from motor vehicles, five burglaries, two drink driving, one drunk and disorderly, two possession of offensive weapons and one miscellaneous. Constable Alford also informed the council that a neighbourhood watch office has been set up in Torpoint police station and will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am-12.30pm. This is a separate office to the police station enquiry office.
