Naomi Elvidge made history on Wednesday when she was elected the first woman president of Saltash Rotary. She has been a member for five years and is married with a young son of ten months, Joseph. Mrs Elvidge succeeds Ken Wasley, last year's president. She will carry on the traditions of Saltash Rotary and has not chosen any special charity for her year of office but said the club will continue with the Shelter Box scheme. There are five female members in Saltash Rotary.
