More than 1,000 vehicles are expected to head to Wadebridge to take part in the annual Wheels classic vehicle show.
The event will take place at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre for the 23rd time on Sunday, July 14.
Last year more than 3,000 people flocked to the event to see classic cars, trucks, motorbikes and other vehicles that gathered for the day.
Kevin Smith, from organisers Wadebridge Rotary Club, said: ’We’ll be expecting much the same again with lots to see and do and another fantastic turnout of superb vehicles of all types, shapes and sizes on display.’
The show is staged to raise money for local charities and Rotary members and supporters donate their time to ensure costs are kept to a minimum.
The 2018 the event raised more than £25,000, with the primary charity being the Chestnut Appeal for prostate cancer. Donations were also made to the Sunrise Appeal, St Petroc’s Society, Cruse Bereavement Care in Cornwall, Wadebridge Foodbank, Invictus, Restormel Mind and a dozen others.
’We hope that this year’s event will see a similar or even better result,’ said Kevin. ’Our main charity this year is Cornwall Blood Bikes; their volunteers do a magnificent job moving blood and other medical supplies throughout Cornwall, and beyond.’
