LOOE Sailing Club held its annual dinner and dance on Saturday evening, with 130 members attending the occasion at Looe Bay Holiday Park.
After the meal, the awards were presented by Commodore Sue Dunn, who also had the 'honour' of handing the Big Foot Trophy (for causing most damage during the season) to her husband, Paul, much to everyone's amusement!
Several up-and-coming young members were recipents of accolades, including the Bill Matty Trophy (for most improved sailor) to Callum Johns and the Peter Leadbeater Trophy (for the sailors' sailor, voted for on the night) to Daisy Jaycock.
Sue presented the new Commodore's Trophy to recently-retired stewardess Karen Bowdler as a reward for all her hard work for the club.
Thanks also went to Paul Higgins and his staff at Looe Bay Holiday Park for all their efforts.
