The Eden Project is hosting a weekend of marine-themed activities to mark the launch of a stunning visual and audio installation revealing the invisible life in the world’s oceans.
Invisible Worlds Ocean: Plankton Chronicles, features magnificent photography that explores the beauty and diversity of plankton. Visitors can come face to face with creatures of the deep - including whales, dolphins, turtles and basking sharks - in educational workshops featuring life-sized inflatable models. Run by the Whale Workshop, the sessions will show how everyone can make a difference for marine wildlife.
There will be a madcap show called Operation Ocean and science workshops will be hosted in the state-of-the-art Lab in the Core education building, home of Invisible Worlds, where everyone can view plankton close-up.
The exhibition opens at Eden on Saturday, February 2, with two days of events and activities for all ages, including family shows, crafts, storytelling and book signings.
