PATIENTS at Rosedean Surgery in Liskeard have been urged to be patient and treat staff with understanding as the practice warns it is operating with significant staffing shortages.

The surgery says reduced staffing levels are affecting its capacity, with patients likely to experience longer waiting times when contacting the practice by telephone.

There may also be delays in processing routine administrative requests and paperwork, reduced availability for routine appointments and longer turnaround times for some non-urgent services.

Rosedean Surgery apologised for the disruption and said its priority remained maintaining safe patient care, with urgent clinical needs being dealt with first.

Patients have been asked to show courtesy and understanding towards staff during what the practice described as a “particularly challenging period”.
