Cornwall Council has been successful in its bid for money from the Government’s Housing Infrastructure Fund.

£5.7m has been allocated to unlock the redevelopment of Hayle Harbour North Quay and another £2.3m has been earmarked to help regenerate 500 acres of former china clay land and develop a garden village in West Carclaze near St Austell which will bring forward 1,500 new homes as well health and community facilities, a primary school, employment floorspace, leisure facilities and a country park.
