LOOE is on the lookout for a new voice to shout about the town – and the role could be your calling!

Looe Town Council is searching for an enthusiastic volunteer to become the town’s next town crier, with no previous experience required.

The successful candidate will help represent Looe, meet residents and visitors and support community events, so it’s certainly a role worth ringing about.

Whether you have a booming voice, plenty of personality or simply love getting involved in town life, the council wants to hear from you.

Applicants are asked to email a few details about themselves and explain why they would like to take on the role.

The closing date is Monday, October 19.
