Pharmacists have revealed the top summer ailments and injuries this summer.

Jellyfish stings that have inflicted blisters and a hand injury caused by an aggressive seagull are all among the list of most frequent reasons people have made a visit to their pharmacist this summer.

Pharmacists have also seen beachgoers turning up with rashes caused by being on the sand and sea, insect bites, along with coughs and colds and conjunctivitis.

Community pharmacies are a great first port of call if you’re not sure where to go for help and on average advice takes just seven minutes.
