Cornwall's junior golfers returned from the South West Four Counties competition held at Weymouth Golf Club having made a clean sweep of the prizes.
They won the team strokeplay competition and the team matchplay competition, with the individual strokeplay trophy going to Billy Downing with an excellent 67 to a par of 70.
Chris Hart, president of the Cornwall Golf Union's Junior Section, said: 'This was an excellent performance by the team and shows our current strength in depth both in strokeplay and matchplay formats.'
The best six scores out of eight decide the strokeplay winners, and the Cornwall boys triumphed by a clear ten-shot margin from cross-Tamar rivals Devon.
Downing's individual performance was impressive; he has for some years been a talented golfer, but demonstrated a new level of self-confidence, maturity and professionalism in his play at Weymouth.
Captain Conor Wilson, Downing, and Tom Fox were all undefeated in the matchplay competition, which saw the Duchy boys emerge victorious over
Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
There were further strong performances from Joe Cruse, Carl Phillips and new cap PJ Lund.
Also playing their parts and gaining valuable experience were the other two new caps, Conor Warne and Jack Irwin.
