Despite the blustery weather conditions, the Matthews Fair day seemed to be a great success.
It also emphasised how successful the new Parade enterprise is and is the ideal site for future events.
A word of thanks must go to all the Lions for all the hard work they put in, everyone who put up stalls to make the fair possible and all the entertainers, especially the line dancers who danced on regardless through a torrential rain-storm.
