A weather affected extra medal competition was held on Friday last. Despite atrocious conditions Paul Pascoe displayed a steady hand on the tiller to take the event with a net 69. Another man with seafaring connections finished as runner up, Alan Soady, just pipping Brian Horton on countback with 71s.

On Sunday the Nadin Rowe Cup was played this time in a very good conditions, resulting in some very good scores. Terry Pratt with a net 63 took the honours - he has been threatening to do something special for some time and today was his day. Ian Soady who has been 'sparkling' over recent weeks with a 64, finished second, whilst it was nice to see one of the "old" boys back on form and storming back which saw Pete Stokes in third place with a 65 with John Scott just one further back in fourth place.

A Stableford competition, the Dawn Plate, played off full handicap - some say a recipe for higher handicap golfers, but not this time - as Adrian Hamlyn, known for driving a hard bargain, certainly buried the rest of the field with an excellent 44 points, Andy Rowe, now a veteran (or so it seems) campaigner has been having a lean time of late came back to form to edge John Kinver out of the runner up spot on countback, both on 42 points. Colin Hough was next best on 41 points.

Sunday last saw the Extra Medal and again good conditions encouraged good swing. Nigel Haimes the Club's continental coach driver won the medal with a 65 first pipping the Clubs continental mini-bus driver Jack Edwards on countback, Jack however finished just Ten shots clear of his nearest challenger in Division Three, Paul Faulkner.

In Division One Pete Higman took the runner up spot with 66 and Andy Rowe confirming his good form in third place with 67. In Division two Greg Rich showed his elders a thing or two taking his division with a 66. Adrian Hamlyn for the third day running playing well below his handicap finishing as runner up with 66 just ahead of Neil Beswetherick who came good in third place. Brian Horton a long time in the doldrums bounced back with a 67.
